- You are in control (even though you feel as if you are out of control)
- You can bring yourself back into the moment and notice what’s really happening
- If you really are in danger, knowing how to regulate yourself and your fear responses enables you to notice what’s going on in the moment, you will be in a position to make choices that help you to protect yourself as best you can.
